I think you’ve got it. Just to clarify, for America to collect income for a Russian territory, America must liberate the territory from an Axis power. If Russia retains control of a territory and Moscow is Axis-held, nobody collects for it until an Axis power takes that territory.

If Russia puts 4 INF on Caucuses in R1, and amphib is out.

What I wrote abvoe was for a single INF left in Caucuses.

Also, that does NOT preclude an Egypt attack, expecially with ANY bid to Africa.  Skip the DD in SZ15 and jsut use Balkans FIG, 2 INF and 1 ARM from Libya.  Still a 70% clear and 60% win.  And if the Ukraine FIG is still alive for the battle it is an 89% win.

There was another thread where it was discussed whether attacking subs could retreat, or only submerge.  Just wanted to make it clear they can retreat with the other attacking units.  No harm meant……

At no point does bombing become any less useful than it originally was in the real world (well, untill the entire territory is destroyed).  Tournament rules do make for a better game, but they destroy my machine-like play, so I don’t like them.  You people out there should get them.  Anybody have a link?  Let me look for one….  Found one: http://daak.de/regeln/eng/lhtr.pdf

Without reinforcement, WEU falls to the Allies on Turn 2, and barring a re-direction of those massed ARM that HAD been going to Moscow being turned around and heading for Paris instead, the Allis will KEEP WEU for the remainder of the game.
