@thethedew I don’t own the game, but I think the main point of it is that it is not WW2 based. This way the game has appeal to people who aren’t that interested in WW2.

New Axis & Allies Expansion Game: The Battle of Moscow 1941-1942

The Danish Axis & Allies Association is working on a new Axis & Allies Expansion Game - The Battle of Moscow.
We expect to be able to release this Expansion Game in Early 2026.
The game begins in Early 1941, and is based on the Global 1940 Game Board.
The game will include the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion - and Special Expansion Part 1 and Special Expansion Part 2.
The Game Set Up will include the Historical Military Situation on the Eastern Front as well as the Soviet territories all the way to the Soviet Far East.

- The Battle of Stalingrad 1942-1943
