Path to Victory
It’s a ruleset, based on Global 40 and Balanced Mod, but with a new map and some interesting new mechanics like planes can scramble to land adjcent territories and planes on carriers can scramble too.
It’s a really good ruleset. The sides are very balanced and the new mechanics really change how planes and carriers can be used, as well as other units. The map is bigger.
I’ve played 20 games of it and lost nearly all of them. I tend to make a mess of the scrambling stuff.

It was from the previous turn so it is entirely your right to not allow it, but thanks for being flexible.
Must have missed it in amongst all the units in the Red Sea. Don’t normally stack there on UK1, often stack Gibraltar or attack the main Italian fleet. Thought I would try something different.

it is a more conservative play but with your factory built there, the italians will not take it. I like the use of the malta guys who normally just sit and drink tea for most of the war

Yeah, I like to make the most of every starting unit, and defending islands usually isn’t a good use of units. Those Malta units are very useful at when stacking Gibraltar, or as extra defence for Egypt.
I thought I would try out the Egypt idea and see how this approach goes.
