Alas currently all is fine and working for me…
Might be because we started the NML game earlier… it used to not work for me either and at some point it suddenly worked so I don’t know if TripleA updated something or it has always worked… but the most important thing is the forum password that you should enter every time you load up the game, otherwise it will give an error message.
It saves for me… do not have to enter the PW
@VictoryFirst the main issue I’m having is that I can’t open a file by clicking on it. I have to manually cut the file from the download file and then paste it into the savegame folder.
I never had that problem until I installed the newer version of Triple A…but I also upgraded my OS to windows 11 the same day. I don’t know if it’s the new Triple A or the new OS that’s causing the problem.
@captainwalker I have the same issue and still use Windows 10. It seems that the “run with…” functionality is broken somehow (when you click on a .tsvg, it is opened with TripleA automatically)
Windows does it right… it opens TripleA, but then TripleA gets stuck as it somehow cannot deal with the start argument given by windows. I guess it is really a tripleA issue…
@Elrood yeah, that’s what happens. Windows tries to open the file and it gets stuck. Then I have to shut down and do everything manually. It’s a hassle but as long as I can still play I can deal with it.
@captainwalker exactly. Just a shame… it used to be much more convenient. My guess is, that the software is no longer maintained properly, or by someone who uses it here on the A&A.org forum… so a some valuable feedback is missing.
@captainwalker Yeah, I have that issue too and although it is annoying, it is not the end of the world. You can simply click on “Open Saved Game” then navigate to your Downloads folder and open the save file you want to load. All my save files are stored in my Downloads folder. TripleA will automatically use the folder you used last so you only have to navigate to your download folder once (unless you need an autosave from the autoSaves folder).
