    Regariding the Pacific Islands - Guam as example has a value of 1 IPC. If Japan takes it, Japan get´s 1 IPC and the US will be reduced by 1 IPC, is that correct?

    I got the newest TripleA version and I went though the latest game notes, and just read that the UK NO will only consider TT with an IPC value. But that ok, no big deal for the crew in Cyprus. They are just cruising and chilling in the Med…

    Yea the way triplea does it, JPN would get 1 PU and if USA doesn’t liberate it they will receive -1 PU next collect income phase.

    If they do liberate it, they will receive no bunus. Before I had them getting the bonus for liberating, as I misunderstood the rule :)

    I got scared for a loment, since in our cureent game the Normandy is under German controll. :-)

    I have a question regarding the US status of War. They are now officially allied with UK and ANZAAC and at war with Germany and Italy, but not with Japan. So if Japan attacks the US, the US national guard will be activated?


  • I am going through the rulebook and it seems, that the US has the initiative to declare war on Japan or wait until Japan declared war and receive the 6 national guards + 2 fighters.

    I thought that at the end of round 3, when the US joins the Allies, they start to be at war with the Axis.

    End of rd 3 just allows the USA to DOW on JPN . Same as G and Italy.
    They don’t have to.
