Well it kinda did, I probably would have attacked the Italian destroyer (sz94) with the French destroyer (sz81) I can still make this move, put it in with the Russian combat! So now is the question do you still wish to edit those destroyers there?!
But when I attack in Rus turn, I cant attack with the Rus sub at the same time. I have two shots of clearing sz94.

Well your attempt to block me was partly succesfull, but its also partly unsuccesfull. The succes part is that I couldnt land in Greece, which was my first idea with the U.S… Now I went for plan B, thats to kill off the Italian fleet and destroy the Major IC.
SO I guess that you could have better kept your destroyers close to the fleet, then they might have still been alive and well.

Even if I kept the whole fleet at home you could’ve just moved to 97 and unloaded there. Either way you could’ve hit Northern Italy (or, even worse, Rome, although when I was making those moves I thought that you could’ve successfully taken Rome, even with the aircraft there).
