AI - High quality

The option to adjust time between AI’s movement is actually at ‘Game’ > ‘AI Pause Duration’ and is the milliseconds between moves. It does persist across sessions and save games.

That being said using the history panel is even better since you can review and click through moves as many times as you’d like. To show the history panel just go to ‘Game’ > ‘Show History’ and to hide it go to ‘Game’ > ‘Show Current Game’.

OK, first thing I will do is to replace the triplea.jar with the prerelease version!  :-)

manual dice = use edit mode while rolling them.  for some things, like combat, i think it lets you pick the dice or pick whatever casualties you want.  for other dice rolls, it won’t do anything.

ai speed = change the ‘ai pause duration’ to be really high.  if you are using dynamix ai, you can pause the ai at any point in the special dynamix ai menu.

Axis and Allies was meant to be played by MEN, not MACHINES!

An AI intelligent enough, could become Artificial.  I mean, if it knows when to rock out a good gamble, that could be dangerous! :P

For the record, I don’t “look” ahead in most of my games, other than for the obvious - “Oh they are going to take a shot at the capital” kind of stuff.  If the AI just did what it had to do to get it’s NO’s, and focus on the economics, it would be deadly enough.

Gotcha, I misunderstood.  Thought you meant could the AI win as the axis, you meant would the AI go for a second capitol after the fall of Russia.

Yea, dunno about that.  I know once you take a capitol, all units seem to stop functioning.  Though, I think it will retake Germany if the odds are seriously in it’s favor.
