Yes. Just use Play by Email instead - and instead of sending emails just post the turn summary manually (copy/paste) and attach a manually created savegame.

You don’t need to setup the mail configuration.

Clicking on “Active Units” or “Placement”-bar minimizes those.
Maybe you need a current prerelease to do so. I don’t know when this has been added.
It is not permanent, though.

I have forked your issue to a new topic, as it was a new one and somehow unrelated to the issue before. Also I have moved everything to the TripleA support forum.

Using the MARTI diceserver and posting to the forum is unrelated. So you can indeed use two different email-addresses.

For using the dice server you simply need to register an email address with MARTI.

For posting to the forum you need to enter your forum credentials into the PBF setup. So your forum username “Phaz” and your forum password.

Now in your case your posting to the forum fails, because you have set up an invalid Topic-ID “tryout”.
You need to enter a valid Topic-ID here. For details see this topic:

Once you enter a correct Topic-ID into the setup you should be fine posting.

@plasmaboy Sounds good. Usually, when playing against different opponents, you would definitely create a new game thread for every game. When playing consecutive games against the same opponent, sometimes players agree to use the same game thread.
Creating a new thread for every game is surely the “cleanest” solution.

@Odonis No problem.  I opened https://github.com/triplea-game/dice-server/issues/33 to update the misleading error message.  Hopefully that will get fixed soon.
