@Adam514 No, I thought it was theater specific. Axis’s had to hold 7 in the Pacific theater or 8 in the Euro theater. Oh boy, that changes things considerably. I have been playing PTV forever and I wasn’t aware of this.!?!
That is why you are parked in EGY and Stalingrad. I was thinking you had to move on either Russia or London and/or Queensland/HAW.
@Adam514 just read the game notes…feeling pretty stupid, I have a lot of PTV games under my belt, played them all wrong. This hasn’t come up before, I bet others aren’t aware. I’ll notate this to my opponents in future games. This really changes the allies game I think, they can’t keep backing up forever, makes the game a bit quicker too, as the allies will have to commit, stand and fight. It might even make PTV more balanced.

I think it’s a good rule to make both sides of the board matter for longer. Typically games don’t last until the victory condition, but the combined VC condition makes it a bit more likely (and something they Allies need to keep in mind as you said).
