    I posted two saves. The first (actual) is how our game really played out. The second (real luck) is how it ‘should’ have looked in Bessarabia if the German AA gun completely whiffed (as it did). Even in this case, there appears to be no chance of the Germans recouping. The German’s needed to catch the 12% chance that they actually repel the initial Russian counterattack. I’m not sure wtf “you did wrong” as Germany - or “they” were wrong - or the dice had an oversized affect. I will get to work on crunching the dice tomorrow. Need rest now.

    Indeed good game. I think I may have been too passive in the first couple of turns, not sure. I didn’t attack East Poland first turn, the “scripts” were a little vague on what to do besides taking Leningrad. (which I honestly don’t see the point of unless you taking Baltic States strongly. And even then…).

    Russia’s income was pretty massive on this one, which was pretty funny. And Germany’s too low. If there’s anything I did poorly, it’s probably trading in the East.

    As for you, you seemed to perform the “Rumanian Wedge” pretty well, whether it was intentional or not. Unlike the forum post, there was no battle there, because I tried to counter your counter. All it did was just kinda stalemate the situation there until turn 4. (The tank push scripts are supposed to hold Eastern Poland & Ukraine strongly there by turn 4 if you’re doing a 2 turn inf build).

    When people were playing this game as Allies, maybe they were too passive and that’s why the tank push worked so well against them. They couldn’t figure out it, and called the game broken. It’s definitely a possibility.

    Adjusted dice results:

    The dice results are ‘added’ turn to turn so by the end of round four, there is a nearly 8 point swing in favor of the Allies - and so the stage is set for a better than average allied ‘end game’. I believe this disparity can account for the Russian counterattack into Belorussia being 88%. E.g. a game with par dice swings or the same dice swings but inverted in favor of the Axis would not create an opportunity for the Russian attack into Belo. We would then have had a battle in Moscow instead but I’m not sure how competitive that would have been for either side - too difficult to say without more games.

    I believe closer to ‘average’ dice, a better pre-game expenditure of IPC for Germany (not a transport), and not invading Leningrad on G1 would make this more competitive in the end game but I don’t feel certain its a “crush” or a guarantee for the Germans to win this game overall. In fact, even with these dice stats, I am currently suspect of the claims that this game is “broken”.
