@Elrood Three days ago immediately after Austria’s turn, I posted to wait for us to discuss NCM edit. I saw that 7 gas were at risk with just one cav for protection. UK could attack with 6 figs if Entente took the coast for figs to land. I knew that gas don’t show up as defense on battle calc. So, I play tested and the gas weren’t destroyed if the defenders were destroyed but the territory wasn’t captured. I told Italy to proceed, because Austria could move his gas before UK’s next turn, not making the connection that Serbs newly built cav could reach before Austria’s next turn.
Austria could have moved its gas to the protection of its army in Mace during NCM.
