• @dawgoneit A while back In my history readings I read that the southern steppes tribal peoples such as the ancestorial relatives of Turks, accepted Islam as it spread, but the northern tribes didn’t because they wouldn’t give up alcohol/hard liquor, which helped them get through the bitter cold winters. Sounds plausible, as Russians are also known as heavy drinkers.

  • @dawgoneit While Pershing, Patton and the 8th cavalry are running roughshod over the poor Mexicans, looking for Poncho Villa, why don’t you find a technical reason to annul the sale of Alaska? Your troops could pose as tourists and easily take over the undefended territory.

    For context, Elrood edited 2 F tt’s from Marianas > Honolulu at end of Austria’s turn. So, the F troops could/should have been edited to be convoyed with the F transports but were overlooked. Sounds like a valid request.

  • UK’s lopsided win in Stockholm with 50/50 odds and no bombardment, was a significant benefit to UK/Rus. If it had been lopsided in G’s favor, with 4 Ger troops in Stockholm instead of UK troops, R would have had to garrison in Sweden instead of returning home. G could have built trenches and even an IC before UK could get more troops in position for another attack. And UK would not have had any troops to threaten G Baltic coast this round.

    This would have been a game changer in this theater of operations.
