@dawgoneit Turkey demands Anschluss with Turkmenistan to end the Russian persecution of Turks there and unite all Turks with the Fatherland (okay, that last part was written by German military advisors).

@FMErwinRommel Sounds to me like the Turks want to join the Russians. I can understand why you would want to join us and take out the Germans.

@dawgoneit A while back In my history readings I read that the southern steppes tribal peoples such as the ancestorial relatives of Turks, accepted Islam as it spread, but the northern tribes didn’t because they wouldn’t give up alcohol/hard liquor, which helped them get through the bitter cold winters. Sounds plausible, as Russians are also known as heavy drinkers.
