    @The_Good_Captain Just had an interesting issue come up in a different game I wanted to share. I needed to use Edit Mode to place Fighters in a space to attack since their implementation on this map doesn’t allow them to pass through a hostile territory. So doing this did not spawn an air battle in the contested territory, presumably since this only gets triggered in the code based on move actions. To get around this you presumably have to place the Fighters in some other adjacent territory so they can move officially moved into the target.

    Bingo. I hope you can help fix TripleA, hah! You are very, very quick on the uptake.

    The French will invade Albania with the goal of using the naval bombardments to clear out the defending Artillery. I double-checked the rules, and even if the Artillery clean out my Infantry on the shore defense rolls, the BBs still get to fire. However, I don’t know if the game engine will allow the BBs to proceed and fire if I remove the Infantry from the space, so be prepared for some Edit Mode fixing.

    Alright as promised here’s my brain dump on the Russian situation. First I ask the question “can Russia be saved BY ME?”, which is a different question than “can Russia be saved at all, by anyone?” I looked at some of your games as the Entente and it looked like you haven’t cracked a reliable way to get past turn 5. So, if I start from the premise that Russia dies no matter what, then what is the best outcome? If I do Ukraine->Belarus->Moscow->Block RR->RR, and have a large stack of Russians removed from the map, with equally large stacks of CP units now free to march west, this seems like a very poor plan. It feels far better to have the Russians go down kicking and screaming taking as many CPs with them on the way down as possible rather than simply being removed from the board without even rolling dice.

    So if I can’t get past turn 5 with conventional play, can I at least get to turn 6 with an unconventional move? The only options here are move to Poland to block the advance of the German stack (which I thought about hard but vetoed) or move to Ukraine to block the advance of the AH stack. Blocking the AH stack is probably better since I can at least support that direct from Moscow. After that it gets more challenging since I have to guess as to what is your preferred method of knocking out Russia. Do you want RR no matter what or will you take what you can get. Russia turn 4 felt like the last turn I could successfully do both. Now on UK 4 I have to choose between giving you 1% or 23% on Moscow vs. being able to block RR on turn 5. I decided to block RR, so now that I passed the 23% roll Russia will have their turn 6 and my goals from the outset of the game will have been met. It might have been an error to not move 1 British Infantry into Tatarstan so that I had the option to move Sevastopol->Tatarstan to block any AH move, but I likely wouldn’t have moved up there anyway since I don’t have enough threatening Mesopotamia if I do.

    Last word, if AH does any kind of suicidal attack on Moscow kill ALL the UK units before touching any Russians.
