  • i am not complaining after the great dice I had with Russia in Novgorod when italy and germany were attacking, but sometimes I wonder how random the dice really are. This round:

    Novogorod: Attacker one hit. Germany rolls a 1
    Ukraine: Attacker, 0 hits, defender 0 hits
    Attacker, 4 hits (3 ones and a two), defender rolls a 1
    W Ukr: Attacker one hit (ne inf hit), defender rolls a 1

    So whenever I hit defender hits a one. After rolling as much as we do weird things will happen, for sure. Good thing, you didnt hit when I missed!

    I didnt find anything better than this so we will see how it goes from here


  • I just experienced this, on G12 of this Classic game:

    I think it was well under 1% result, I didn’t try to calculate exactly.

    He gave up even after that. I made it impossible for him to transport anything from Japan to the mainland and was going to be able to bomb Japan’s money to 0 with no AA cover

    Anyway, game is over and hopefully won’t start the next for a bit, although I’m involved in every turn in the team game.

    But I’m not sure how long I’ll last against the Allied walls and heavy bombers anyway

    It’s a tournament and I advanced to the next round so finishing that game didn’t lighten my load. Probably made it heavier, I’m playing the premier rules expert and Classic super-fan The_Good_Captain next.
    Then I hope to win 2-0 against the grizzled veteran who bounced me to the loser bracket after my luftwaffe BLANKED against a fleet in the North Sea. It was still possible to win, but I didn’t want the horrific grind of shucking endless infantry from UK and USA

    I cant look at the thing. I have some erorrs with my maps I cant figure out. I dont figure out how o download the classics map. some errors. will have to look into it. maybe a new version of triple A will help

    Yea you should be using one of the 2.7’s. I use 2.7+14962 which is way behind but works for me :)

  • There are 2 different Classic maps, and you have to have the right one. Let me know if you’re interested, I succeeded today in helping someone load the other one by sharing files with them via e-mail and it worked.

    Took a look at Japan, finally, but running out of time tonight and not ready to actually play it quite yet. Decided on quite a few things, still some calcs to do, but wanted to let you know I worked on it awhile.

    Prioritizing the classic tournament game and the team game we’re in, and wishing something would wrap up
