This one’s for fun! But you know I will do everything possible to overcome that start.I’ll look at those dice again - I think there were only two hits in round one of Paris which is also much more weighty than the average dice shows because the allies got a lot more shots back

Not only some of the tiny borders (our extensive knowledge of the G40 board will help a lot with that) but the different places they put the units and transports look like warships to me.
So misunderstanding what units are where could be absolutely disastrous.
You have to have a first game before you can have a 10th, right?
I love the flesh in the infantry and the torpedos on the tacs -

TWO hits in Paris. All 6 tanks missed.

And then when it doesn’t matter, 5/6 German tanks hit. Mercifully for once, the french miss one time.How do I have 6 tanks left??? That’s actually only about 4-5 mech and artillery that I lost above average, it feels like it was even worse than that.

I think thats about right, you were supposed to be +28 and ended up +4. so 24 is about 4 mech and 2 art more than the average 7 inf + 1 art. My fighter missed the last 3 rounds of the battle too, so it could have been much worse… I am not expecting that to bring much joy to you though

my first impression is, I dont encourage J1… but maybe i do. i havent seen a J1 Hawaii move in a decade or so, so I need some time to consider. Are you Magnus Carlsen??? Trying to outplay me from day one 1 by doing odd moves???

A major reason not to do J1 is to hit Yunnan with everything. I know about the stack Yunnan strategy but I don’t think I’ve seen THAT for a decade

There is an island off Amur that is divided between sz 5 and 6 and is half soviet and half japan.
it is a change but I think it has little to none practical meaning except special play. Any other weird things you see?

A little unlucky for me so far.
Lost 2 infantry in Phi and only got 2 hits in Hawaii
Even the destroyer at Z35 hit, but was ABSORBED :DI need to ask for casualties at Z26
