@gamerman01 just on my forum posts you are on +9 casualties inflicted without how well or badly the uk/china did on its go. 8 hits in greece dont make up for only 2 hits in normandy…esp as you hit3/4 there as well. This is just a lost cause as I dont think you will make any mistakes to exploit either

Your Russian offensive is hardly weakened by the difficult dice…
I have to be in tip top condition, well rested, well fed, at peak morale and praying for a terrible winter in order to hold Moscow -
Several of your battles went poorly, but quickly reviewing the first 2 rounds of the game (because your Russian offensive is very strong), I realize the following:
Some battles went quite well for the Axis- France went well. Only 1 artillery lost
- Yugo about average, 2 infantry lost (so no reduced pressure on Russia)
- 97 lost, but UK had to lose 2 planes and the 2 remaining surfaceships were cleaned up with no losses by Germany
- Although Italy lost sub/destroyer in 93, the cruiser got lucky and took out a UK sub that is a major threat to convoy damage
- Normandy, Germany lost 3 mech and 2 artillery that were not lost in Paris G1
- Greece, even though 3/4 infantry hits looks awful, Germany actually only lost 1.67 extra infantry, and they won’t get to Russia for a few turns anyway
- Normandy and Holland cleaned up, no losses
So although you and I both felt like the Axis were taking hard hits, as I look at it fresh today, I have a real war on my hands. Disasters were partly mitigated, for sure, especially 97 and 93
No resting on laurels yet. Game on!! -
What is really tough for you is the UK has a good fleet still floating, the Italians have been decimated, and the Western wall is not a wall.
