I looked at your game with The Good Captain. I was very shocked that you beat him, let alone in ten turns in your first game with him.
I’ve played against him as the Allies 4 times and I lost each time. Very impressed.
Your strategy was new in my eyes, as I previously only played with The Good Captain, where we both used the strategies in his videos. First time I’ve seen Russia last past turn 11 or 12.

My only nitpick is that it would be appreciated if I get an “ooo” or “darn” from you once in a while. We already sacrifice a lot of the fun of board gaming by not being able to witness your opponents’ reactions in real-time (even if all they do is frown once in a while) so when I get nothing at all I might as well just play an AI. I get that you likely don’t want to give anything anyway but a total poker face (if that phrasing even applies online) doesn’t feel necessary. I thought when I doubled-teamed Albania with the French and UK so I could bag that and Greece in the same round that might have spawned a reaction, or maybe you didn’t plan on me hitting Mesopotamia from both Persia and all the guys in Africa. A player needs a little fix once in a while… plus I think it does our fellow players a disservice if they want to check out the game but have no idea if the players thought anything that happened was especially good or bad.
I feel the same. He very much doesn’t give anything away. Hopefully you found this game a bit more enjoyable (as much as possible when you’re losing anyways).

This is my first game with TripleA vs. a human opponent (TGC was #3). I’m new to the WWI variant but not new to A&A, been playing it since the original Milton Bradley edition.
The game engine wouldn’t let me make the legal move of my Tanks from Hannover to Silesia so I had to edit that in. Combat in Hannover is declined.

Good to know. By virtue of my age I’ve only been playing for a few years but I feel I’ve racked up quite a lot of experience playing the game. I haven’t played 1914 on a board too much, most of my games are online these days (even against myself, just so much more convenient).
As you can tell, this is my 11th game online overall (6th or 7th on TripleA). I think I finished a 12th while playing this one.
Pretty much my only experience playing with other players, all other games are my own.
Still. You beat The Good Captain in 10 turns. I can’t get over it. I’m planning to start my 5th one with him once I’m done with this.
