@mainah Yeah it’s a difficult question to answer. A basic TUV comparison for the battles is a good starting point, but I try to think further down the road regarding how the lost units will affect the ability to generate income down the road etc. IME, one the Italians lose their fleet, they usually don’t make enough money to build a new one large enough to withstand any significant Allied attack. But it will be interesting either way.

In BM4, Russia makes a lot less money, and sees its income steady reducing fairly rapidly. In that version, trading 7 Russian planes, early, for the Italian fleet with a Persian factory that is threatened and a 30ipc Italy would, in my estimation, be a slight net negative in the overall allied position.
But P2V is a very different game. I have no reference to look at to have an informed opinion on the overall strategic situation in this game.

Well - I got caught up on 3 games tonight.
But yours - well - somehow I am really frustrated and really impressed how you tied up the pac so fast, both feelings at the same time. Japan never got going, and seems unlikely to ever in this game. This map, and the new scrambling options, is shown in all its beauty and ugliness right now.
But I must make the most of it to give Germany a chance. Need some time to ponder, if you don’t mind.
