That wasn’t the question, but cool.
How many pre dreadnought class battleships could the Iowa have taken on?

No external support, 5 km distances, clear weather. Max supplies, no refills.
How many pre dreadnought battleships can one World War 2 Iowa class battleship fight at once?
And how many can it take on if pitted against them one at a time?

@SuperbattleshipYamato
How well can an Iowa class battleship take a 12’’ shell? I’m thinking the battleship could take a heavy amount of beating from these 12’’ shells. If some of the pre dreadnoughts carried 14’’ guns, those hits would be more punishing.I’m thinking eight pre deadnoughts could take out an Iowa class ship, but atleast five of these ships are sunk.
Thought?

Iowa’s faster and outranges the, hypothetically (not including fire control) Iowa can take out a ton before it runs out of ammunition.
If they’re fighting close Iowa losing to 8 pre dreadnoughts with 14 inchers sounds right. 👍
