I think there needs to be project to include a more historically accurate map. I think the rules will need to work with AAR map but, maybe have a separate section if different rules apply to the larger more advanced map.
the only change we have in mind is splitting Norway into Norway/Finland
and giving Pacific Islands values (although I am against that in realism perspective since Okinawa is only 1 IPC)

print out a huge copy
and buy multiple sets of the game and use no chips!

This is still revised AA it has to feel the same.
Like I said before the rules should work with AAR board but, I think another better map could be made that also could use the rules.

also we need to add Malta to the phase 3 map. It was a very strategic point.
I feel that gibrater and Malta should have more significace in the game than territories devoid of value. The loss of either would have major problems for england.
oh just add Malta and give it interdiction abilities like our Gibratar

of course… but gibrater and malta need soem defense after all they are fortresses of sorts… say that in these locations you need 2 hits to kill a unit… that like double defense or you can go triple defense?

yeah we could do that
but gotta define
how many units the fortifications can hold
how many units the little piece of land can hold
which units (I say only INF) gets the 2-hit-to-kill bonus
eg.
Malta
*10 friendly land units
*3 INF takes 2 hits
