    I’ll look at dice e-mails when reviewing the turn - no worries, stuff like this is happening to everybody these days, and I trust you a great deal.

    Last night my program froze while trying to contact MARTI for the very last roll of a turn. I couldn’t save it, couldn’t see it, so had to reconstruct the turn from memory and MARTIs.

    MARTI e-mail dice haven’t been in order lowest unit to highest strength, etc. other issues have been coming up lately.

    If you see anything or figure anything out in the meantime, of course I would appreciate anything you might come up with, but for now, no worries


  • @gamerman01 In this case, it was entirely my error. I had a phone call as I was finishing up the turn, and when I returned, it appeared that I only had older turns and the local version open. I realized after closing that this was probably just because I was looking at the history and that the turn was still there. I ahd wanted to confirm the UK fig was on its own carrier so was checking your UK turn. But then I had an after combat auto save that was tied to the local game I tested what I was going to do and an after non combat autosave that I think was the right one but which wasn’t population the game details in the start up screen.

    I intend to leave game notes for fighters on carriers except sometimes don’t when there is only one possibility. Not looking at map right now, but US built 2 fighters and carrier to 110, I think, so those 2 fighters have to be on US carrier


  • Right, I looked and the only possibility was that US fighters were on US carrier because of the build rule. I would have looked into the history if I were you, too, I guess my point is that a player should always try to remember to leave a game note or post what fighters are on what carriers.

    Maybe I should make a league-wide rule that if you don’t say that, then the fighters are ruled to be on their own country’s carriers. Since Triple A still doesn’t accommodate this need (I’m very happy with the amphibious assault retreat rules being added, though)

    It is great to play with a guy as kind and conscientious as you. Competitive in game, yet polite and deferring. I’m glad to have a 2nd game with you, and under the “bright lights” to boot!
