@Elrood F1 max HGs & trenches in Paris and resulting limited builds elsewhere. I was thinking about that after Paris fell in our last game. @Private-Panic Oh no, you took GNG on round 1. I built the standard units that everyone builds there. But I didn’t attack and sink the UK BC and transport which is the normal move. That gave you 2 more amphib units and bombardment. I did what Witt did last game and attacked the French fleet with most of my ships, and attacked the Australian cruiser and tt with a sub. But I didn’t beat the odds like Witt did in the last game, so I failed to sink that tt.
In the past, attacking the French with just half my ships, resulted in losing a BC or even losing the battle. Didn’t consider that letting both UK tt’s survive would cause the loss of GNG, because that hadn’t happened before in our team games. -
