I like the tank buys - some number crunchers compare them to mechs and say you should never buy tanks (I know one excellent player used to say that and I was 1-3 against him, but he probably got lucky :hushed: )
Tanks are definitely the best in some situations, especially for limited production (minor factories) and transporting, but I don’t think that’s all…

That’s what I’m talkin’ about. You want 10 units on Berlin and maximum short term threat on Russia, you buy tanks
Yeah, I just ran the battle calc on some mixtures, and basically a mix of mech and tanks is the best, for offense. For defense, if you don’t count transport or factory limitations, of course mech is superior every time

But my biggest weakness is conquering Russia. I somehow never manage to do it. That’s why I tried to go almost all-in on land units this game.

I have only taken the Axis 4 times since February 2016! 1 of them is in progress. 2-1 on the others, the 1 I lost was largely because I lost way too many planes on G1. Oysteilo gave a couple back and it still wasn’t enough.
I only take Axis against weaker players so I can learn them while still winning.

Russia and India got big buffs in BM. I like that they don’t get steamrolled, but they might have received just a little too much in NO’s.
