@Miznasty I didn’t watch those videos, just know about their existence.
Anyone can confirm?
Not too familiar with the forum etiquette but wanted to reach out to you.
My group recently discovered Tabletop Simulator on Steam. There are dozens of Axis and Allies boards and varied game designs on the Steam Workshop - all for free. We could not find a decent set up, so I have been starting from the bottom trying to make a high quality board and pieces for all to enjoy virtually.
During this time I stumbled on your tournament rules and we are very interested in trying to bring this to our group and Tabletop Sim! I am wondering if you would be interested in providing me digital copies of your decks for the very limited purpose of recreating your tournament board on Tabletop Sim and making public for all to enjoy.
Please let me know if this is something you’re interested in. If not, I’m sure I will eventually purchase down the line for our own in-person enjoyment.
Thanks for all your work! Looking forward to your response!
@sneezking 1942 steam is much better, eventually 1040 will get ported, be patient. join discord and everyone plus Kibitzers can chime in live games
@Imperious-Leader Steam’s 1942 is great and loads of fun. With an eventual 40 Global, the game would be a must have for sure. But, there is no possibility for house rules, which for some, is a large part of the game.
I’m happy to wait for development, but as I mentioned, my group has been really infatuated with TTS and it would be great to get a 3G40 tournament set on the workshop.
Either way, definitely interested in a discord server. Could you please drop an invite? Thanks for the reply!
@sneezking Let me figure that out, never tried before
@Imperious-Leader think I found it. Axis and Allies Arena?
@sneezking no its a server that has the 5 national flags in a circle. thats the one you want
@Imperious-Leader oh, I believe I already checked that one out. That’s the Axis 42 Steam version. While I’m looking forward to them developing a global board, I still don’t believe it’s a replacement for the reasons I mentioned above. Moreso looking forward to developing a TTS version. Thanks for the direction though!
@sneezking Yea right now global is only table top, but 1942 is only like $11 USD, just get it. its the best thing i ever saw in an attempt at a AA game
@Imperious-Leader Yeah I’ve played it many times and still do so with my friends. It makes the game way more accessible to the general gaming community. A great supplement to the variety of ways to play A&A!
