The bullying at Bryatia really cost me position, but of course it really helps Europe. I don’t remember having a situation like this with my Axis where I am so close to winning on either board. I can’t decide which one to go for, or to stay balanced. I guess I am staying balanced but Russia should be much easier to get than NSW or Hawaii

I love how feisty you were around Siberia, making me pay the whole game for attacking the 6 Russians on Amur you left. That was a huge decision you made to leave 6 there, and I went for it. It’s dictated much of the action the whole game

I will say that sub in Hawaii was giving me a lot of trouble if you had submerged it. But I was prepared for you to submerge - it just made me stretch things a bit because of the way it threatens Z6 and Z33 at the same time

But you had it fight, and that is not a mistake. If I only score 1 hit in the first round and go a 2nd, your whole defense gets to fire another round.

Ah!! Yes, in that case holding the sub would be brilliant. I carefully considered how many to take in. They are then out of position. I had enough to get them in 2 rounds, but wanted it to be 1, of course. Then I barely had enough staying back in 33. I could have used just 1 more destroyer and 33 is totally safe, but I HATE using up destroyers as blockers. So I was able to save 1…

Oh, wow! You just got better! It’s a balanced mod rule, to make the Japan-Russia relations more fun.
If Russia declares war on Japan, Russia will never get the bonuses. But if Japan declares war on Russia, Russia gets 4 NO bonus for the 3 lend-lease routes instead of just 2. This is what I triggered on J1 in attacking your 6 infantry at the border
