Just on the other side of a very small town of 8,000 people! It is still in city limits, but on an acreage with no other houses too close. I’ll PM you a link to the pictures

You don’t blunder, and you’re a hound for the NO’s! I didn’t even think about Malaya being an ANZAC NO. I say a player who doesn’t blunder is never easy to beat.

Ahhh… UK east destroyed, and now an opportunity to make the French extinct !! :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

No they don’t, I didn’t count my artillery in that last calc. Please use FIRST MAP, not edit map, thanks
I’m editing the Italian mech, 2 armor to Bess as originally intended. I edited it when I did a wrong calculation on Ukraine (omitted German artillery)
-
Please accept my apologies. I’ll go with the map you used, keeping them in Ukraine (except the one that went back to Romania). I was thinking can open Bel, but that doesn’t make much sense.
Keeping them in Ukraine frees up aircraft.

Casualty choice for Rostov - lose AA or not?
-
I’ll put that you lose all infantry and save the AA. There’s no way I’m going a 2nd round.
If you want to lose the AA, just swap it out for an infantry on R10.

It is really very very hard to play against you :cold_sweat:
I have to think about more pressure against Germany, this is not enough but there are the pesky Italians in Egypt  -

You’ve gone 10 rounds and it’s still hard. You keep narrowing the gap
-
I immediately changed my casualty choice in Z37 after the defense dice were rolled -
According to the rulebook the subs and the destroyer would all be rolled before the attacker would have to make a casualty choice (I had a destroyer present).Pretty sure - it is late and I don’t want to think about it 3 different ways.
-
This was a pretty evil move. I hope you have a hard time with it. :flushed:
You are good enough that I have to be more careful.
-
For me its much harder to win with the Axis in BM. Therefore I wanted that you play Axis. But I need 10 more rounds to make real danger.
-
I am happy for the immediate post - yes I am up late.
I do like some of the strategies I’ve figured out with the Axis, but facing @MrRoboto and @Farmboy - they are much stronger with the Axis than I am.
As an experienced Allied player I know it is very stressful with Axis is doing well on both sides and has India and Egypt or Russia. Very stressful.
-
I used Guam as a strategic landing place instead of just a “have to land somewhere” place - I am so excited!
-
And I know you’re gonna HATE the New Britain landing.
-
I take a look in your game against MrRoboto.
And we talk about the game but I say nothing to your tactic. My comment was : ich kenne niemanden der die Russen besser spielt als gamerman - I knew nobody who plays russians better than gamerman- you can follow our chat but its in german. -
Oh wow am I happy to hear that.
When I learned the game in high school and had to play against myself most of the time, back with old classic version I loved playing Russia the best.My family member (Boldresh on this site) thought he was unbeatable with Germany. He would always buy 6 tanks G1 and steamroll his little brother. From playing against myself, I discovered the great defensive power of infantry, and later discovered that the Allies could really get a lot to defend Moscow, quickly. You had to be quick because Germany takes and holds Karelia, builds units right there next to Moscow, and that’s game. One thing I did was buy a carrier on UK1 and then fly 2 US planes onto it US1. So 2 US planes were on Moscow US2.
I loved the tank miniatures, and I thought the Russian pieces were the best. I have always thought that my Russian play was unusually good, and playing online over the years I found this was true. So it means a lot if someone I’ve played several games with, says so.
You have learned to buy infantry and artillery exclusively, and you buy correct ratios of them. I am stalled out and just happy to not be retreating yet. I have some significant tips for you, but definitely not until I win this game :joy:
I know what it’s like to teach someone and they are then hard to beat and I even lose to them. JDOW played me, talked to me a lot, and shadowed me until he won back to back championships. So I humbly say I think I am an effective teacher.

We were in our teenage years when we discovered the game. When he came to my house for the first big showdown, he bought 6 tanks with Germany. I bought 8 infantry with Russia. He knew this was bad news for him so he immediately said “you can’t buy 8 infantry with Russia”. I asked why. He said because it’s unrealistic - the Russians in real life couldn’t have raised an infantry army like that so fast.
I guess he didn’t know history very well. After some argument, I held my ground and said it was according to the rules and probably pointed out that he bought 6 tanks. Pretty sure I went on to win. He challenged me dozens of games on this site years ago, and he didn’t win very many of them.
