    Are you able to retreat to SZ19? It’s a hostile sea zone, I wouldn’t have thought that was allowed, will check the rules.

    Eur rules, p20:
    Condition B—Attacker Retreats
    The attacker (never the defender) can retreat during this
    step. Move all attacking land and sea units in that combat
    that are on the battle strip to a single adjacent friendly
    space     from which at least 1 of the attacking land or sea
    unit involved in a successful battle.

    I didn’t see the need to resort to Forum dice here. Would have been easier with normal dice. Only if someone objects to sub casualties would you need to do that.

    You are right, rolling on the forum would have been easier. However, I have been asked many times to roll big sea battles on the forum, because of the sub casualty situation.
    And, more importantly, I am having a dispute with another player right now because of a big sea battle where we did not get MARTI Dice mails. So I wanted to make sure there is 100% transparency here.

    Axis got smacked around that turn.

    Actually, you had plenty of plane hits which can hit my planes. I’ve removed 2 Japanese fighters.

    I thought I had enough to fend off the Yanks there. If I was really worried I should have forgotten about putting planes in Amur. Bad in Greece too.

    If you come back to win this game, it will the come back of the century.
