Your subs are star performers! Quite correct on the rule. I would have assumed something to roll the remaining dice within AAA. I don’t like to edit units in because I think that is where unique/duplicate key bugs appear.
Anyway, Lose all the ships and 2 tacs. Probably should have dented all the CVs first round but I feared ANZAC finishing off the fleet. At least all your CVs went down also.

8 hits, one less than average, while I had 9 hits (which was one more than average). Another round that went slightly my way - but in navy battles even slight deviations from the average have a big impact!
My plan was to soften you up enough for anzac to finish the rest, especially because you might not choose max def from the beginning (and this is exactly what happened). Now I might have a shot to even win outright with US!
Now before I choose my casualties: You said you wanted my 9 hits to go to ALL ships + 2 tacs. Did you forget about your damaged battleship?
3 damaged carriers + 1 healthy carrier + 1 destroyer + 1 cruiser + 1 damaged battleship = 8 hits.Sorry for dragging this out, but if you leave the battleship, I might have to leave 1 or 2 subs instead of destroyers…
