Your German bomber in FIC is brilliant, destroys a lot of options I have by denying a destroyer block.
I could drag this on, try to save my US fleet, maybe force a foothold in Korea (which doesn’t gain me much).
Eventually I will be able to take Gibraltar, but what then? By that point the Atlantic coast is fortified, your airforce is so strong that I have to keep adding destroyers / carriers and Rome will be way too secure.
I won’t be able to hold Cairo very long, especially when you also bring over the Japanese Airforce.
Very impressive game Adam, I salute you. Would you do me the favor and look at the 10 rounds again to point out any major mistakes I made? Any hints you could give me?

Sure I noted some things:

It’s not worth delaying putting you US fleet into position against Japan to load up a lot of marines. In fact, marines are easier to load up and use on the Atlantic side anyway, so you could consider transferring a cruiser to have 2 cruisers in the Atlantic to load 2 marines.

You declared and invaded with Russia on Japan, and lost your stack on the following Japanese turn, opening up a lot of long term income for Japan and losing a lot for Russia.

You countered too much as Russia against Germany. You attacked inf and AA gun with more inf and artillery to take back territories that weren’t worth those units. Unless it’s a strategic territory like a factory, you shouldn’t counter attack without aircraft. Losing those extra units made Germany able to get right next to Moscow without delay, and then go South to where the money is.

Would you advise against going into Manchuria / Korea completely?
I feel like in some games it seems to work, while in others it doesn’t.
My plan is, to stretch the Japanese units, especially in turn 3, when many players declare war.
This should allow me, to put pressure from all sides: Russia in the north, China, UK from India, Anzac from South and US from the west.
My plan here is, that Japan can’t defend all the transports at once when taking the money islands so that I can pick them one by one.How do you handle the Russian stack? Always rush for Moscow?
The marines are a good point. Your game is the only one in which I did that, and it didn’t work.
The counter with Russia is because I think trading as Allies is always a good idea. Allies usually have the better economy, but units are spread and stretched. So trades are generally helpful. Having a huge,but immobile stack in Moscow isn’t worth a lot, when Germany can just sit in the Caucasus and pressure Moscow and the Middle East at the same time - that’s my thinking.

@MrRoboto With the Russians I like to prevent Germany from getting to the south, so I put moderately expensive blockers and deadzone the territory Germany would like to move into to go South. This only works if Germany doesn’t go 100% land units (fleet G1 for example).
In our game, sacrificing the Russians did indeed delay India, but I think you could have waited a turn and saved the stack with a similar result.
