I want to clarify a few things before we start:
Are we using battle calculators? Are we sending the files to each other here or over email? The play by email function is broken (technical issues) on my end, so we can’t use that (we’ll just have to use the local game function and I’ll track dice to ensure neither of us are cheating). I hope this is okay. Are we using research and development/tech rules?L22 Pejon_88 (X+10) vs. GeneralDisarray (A), PTV, semi final

Will continue in the forum since I don’t see a way around how to access the engine without the same issue happening again.
Losses round 2:
Japan 11 subs, 1 des, 2 cr, 2 figs and 2 tacs
Allies 11 subs, 7 desFor round 3:

OMG the Japan 13d6 were not rolled. Will roll now:

I read hits for Japan 5 + 9 =13 (12 since I rolled one tac too many, should have been 12d6…) and 0 + 1 + 1 +6 = 8 for Allies leaving the two sides with the following units:
Japan
10 figs at 3 or less
1 battleship and 8 tacs at 4 or lessAllies
6 ACs at 1 or less
3 cr + 4 tacs at 3 or less
1 battleship + 10 figs at 4 or less -
This is soooo confusing and I apologise…
I realize I rolled the wrong dice last round for you since they made ACs 1 or less in PTV which I totally forgot in the middle of all this although I mentioned it in my first post. I went max defense for you, which would mean saving ACs before destroyers in BM3/4 or any other version of Axis and Allies… Hence you should’ve been left with more 2 or less instead of those ACs that grants you hits at only 1 or less…
I am at a loss and have kind of lost the appetite for this particular game. I will let you decide the best way forward from here, including you collecting the win which is anyway statically fair from before this battle even started. I won’t give other examples how to proceed since I don’t want to influence your decision.
Again apologies for messing up the forum rolls.

@Pejon_88 I would not feel right taking the win here. That being said can we just start at the beginning of round 2 with 25 hits and 21 hits and just roll max defense the rest of the way? @gamerman01 open for suggestions here.
-
I’ll wait for pejon reply, thank you for inviting me
-
@GeneralDisarray True sportsmanship from you here. Something we see over and over again on this forum :)
Don’t you agree? @gamerman01
In that case I propose that I go to the battle in Live Mode and removing those casualties and going with max d for you the rest of the battle. I tried in Local and if I stay in the session I am able to follow through with the whole battle. I think the bug is related to closing and opening a game session so by doing it this way I hope it works. Shall I try?

@Pejon_88 Ready when you are.

@GeneralDisarray Congratualations for making the finals, well played! :)
After having lost first Gibraltar costly and then much worse the German and Italian fleets which were resources I should’ve spent to crush USSR, I think the game was pretty much sealed.
Good luck in the final game!

@Pejon_88 Very well played. Had a answers for nearly every front I had coming in. Close game.
-
@GeneralDisarray Yes I believe I could’ve kept a closed door if you hadn’t gotten the edge.
