Let’s see how it goes with Japan. I initially intended to also conquer West India and Burma, but this was way too expensive - I would have lost too many planes. Did you move your Brits to Burma, last round, just to be able to re-take India?

@martin The naval base was so that the US units (and UK but for them I could have waited a turn to build) have the option of moving 3 spaces. I may end up not doing that next turn depending on what you do, but it was important to me to have the option.
I attacked Burma because it made your attack on India a touch weaker if you tried to split your forces and hit both. And if you didn’t, than I would have the option of retaking it. One of my goals with the allies is to get as many Japanese land units off the mainland and attacking Burma was a slightly better way to do that than holding up in India. And I also had Java. If you went for that too, than you are stretched thin enough that you might fail elsewhere.
I had hoped you would pay a bit more for your attack on India and so was lucky my counter went as well as it did.
I don’t think the Italian attack was worth it. If you are in a desperate situation than it might be because you can open up a German attack on Moscow. But that attack has less than 50% odds and an average tuv outcome of -40+. One thing here to note is that Moscow is out of reach from the German mechs in Ukraine because they are not joined by tanks and can’t blitz. An attack like that can pay off, but the trade off is most, if not all, of the German air. Ands I get Moscow back and can likely hold it after (although I haven’t calculated that), and the Western allies have an easier time landing units in Europe without the German air.
