@Sovietishcat Re: German win. I didn’t have much choice on strategy once the allies went really hard on KJF. I definitely underappreciated the ability of the US to blockade Japan. I knew you could get there, but I assumed a counter attack would win the day or the next–and meanwhile I would expand enough in the south to make up for the lost IPCs. But you continued to put up blockers that eventually I had to respond by moving the fleet.
However, the Indian surface fleet with the threat of joining with ANZACs (and later US) was real. I was surprised it worked so well, but the southern threat + US blockade was enough to make Japan crumble.
@surfer nonetheless It is probably the best game versus you I had.
