Multiple questions on map options for TripleA, especially on research and development

Yes, you need a current 2.6 pre-release to be able to post to the forum. Also AFAIK with 2.6 the map-download procedure and lobby will change, that is why you are stuck to 2.5 for using those. Installing both versions side by side is a good workaround.

Never mind, I figured it out. Here’s how it looks on my computer:

In case you struggle with the navigation: You can always easily access your latest postings by visiting your own profile (klick on your username). At the bottom of the page you will find your latest postings, then.

@djensen A space is problematic, indeed, as it prevents from posting, too. Though the error message appears to be different. Replacing the space by a hyphen still caused an error message but at least allowed posting in this case. The best solution appears to be to change the username in that case.

everyone in the game can save the game at any point

so you can start a game, and save it later, and continue the next day

also, you can take a play by forum game and start playing it live in the lobby, and also you can take a live game and start playing it pbem.  the games can switch at any point you want.

Okay, I managed to get it working!  :-)

I installed the A&A50 1941 scenario map, no problem. Just having my first ever game as Japan against all the AI and all I can say is - I’m LOVING it!!  :-D

This is fantastic, brilliant graphics and simple interfaces. Well done to the team who made this!  And thank you.  :wink:
