How about some event cards, like Ireland revolts; or ship fire explodes munitions and ship has to repair in port; or fighter lost in non-combat flight accident. Or USA burns Parliament or Buckingham Palace in retaliation for the 100th anniversary of the British burning of the U.S. White House in 1814.

@Witt You sneaky b, I thought there was no way you could take Belgium with one transport, and you wouldn’t risk your figs even if you used your cavalry from Paris. Didn’t realize those Brits in EngCha were on French transport.
So I didn’t abandon Champ and go en masse to Belgium like the prior German players in our team games.
I didn’t count on you using DD from Med to reach my subs off Africa. Should have gone to Persian Gulf with my CA.
Your tech luck is going to be the end of my navy. Get a naval tech on turns 1 and 2 with just one die each turn.

This has gotten completely out of hand. UK and Italy each got a tech from one die roll on round 1. UK and Rus each got a tech from one die roll on round 2.
The world is upside down. Ger is on the defense on Western Front. France put an unusually large defense in Burgundy, while Ger will be too busy retaking Belg & Pic. So Ger is the one building trenches, as the Burg troops can join offensively with Paris.
despite the tech luck, i think CPs are in quite a comfortable position still
