Looking for input as to which map version should be offered for a WWII game.

Hello everyone,

My name is Sergeant gentlemen, and I wanted to show off the custom map that I’m working on.
I’m very new to Axis&Allies.org, so if there is something that I’m missing in this post please let me know.

I’m showing this off in order to get some feedback in any way possible.
The map itself is in it’s very early process.
Currently I’m done with all the landmass.
I’ll definitely add more details to the land, like lakes, rivers, trees, mountains, etc.
My custom map is gonna be a more realistic type of map.

When all the land stuff is done I’ll begin to add the borders, provinces, etc.

I quickly did some coloring for the Central Powers to show off the colors that I might want to use.
Germany black as always, and as for Austria Hungary… well seeing Austria Hangary having a white color in the hoi4 game, surely made it interesting for me to try it out.
I also think the green color fits with the Ottoman Empire, maybe a red color would also work, but then again, I’m open for suggestions.

I’ll be updating you guys on the map.

I don’t know about yall, but I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of separate game aids all over the area. Siredblood’s AA50 map is a work of art and took the liberty of adding IPCs and National objectives to the map. Not sure if it’s too cluttered now-- maybe the Natl objectives should be between the IPCs and map. What do you think? First almost perfectly on a 6’x4’ map.

All my boards are on 5mm foamex boards.
Waterproof, fade proof, and really hard wearing

I thought about this as well, my 65" is not big enough for the OOB size…… after I saw that, I lol’d

Thanks for the offer, however the design I created for this project has already been submitted so unfortunately I won’t be able to change much until the project is completed.

While I hope there will be some people who find this software useful, it is only meant to be a small scale project as part of my software class so I don’t mind if there isn’t great support for it.

To answer my own question, I am using the supreme map of IL now, IPC values are the same and so are the borders, although not necessarily always the shape of the country, but that is irrelevant.
