Austria’s current early position is not as good as it was when I played Austria in Game 3. Then, I breezed into Belgrade and held onto Milan. Although the opposition got tougher later on. While it’s too much to ask for another quick start, it is disappointing.
Now, Colt to his credit, has amassed a huge army in Belgrade that threatens my rich provinces. And a bad opening battle left my G ally with a smaller than expected army on the eastern front. My opposing neighbors have a greater combined income than me, and near turn growth is limited. With Italy, and now France, having propaganda, the CP need some tech luck of our own.

@colt45554 Only barrage will do, as my opponents aren’t relying on trenches, so gas is not cost effective.
@dawgoneit Lucky gamble splitting your subs to take out both R ships at once. But messing with Lawrence of Arabia in the Hejaz didn’t work, you were slaughtered to the last man, as his motto is “take no prisoners”.

I took a look at your just finished 1914 1-on-1 game that dawg won as CP. What a wild game, I’ve never seen such an ending result. G went south thru France and took out Pied. Austria had 20 tanks ready to take Rome. Can’t believe Turks conquered all of India except Calc, where UK was holding out. Also, Turks just took Cairo with massive army including 25 tanks. Entek as USA, got sidetracked taking Port and most of Spain (a little like team game 3).
we play a variety of games. Entek is a little ahead of me for wins but we’re about the same. he’s my favorite person to play games with. we have a couple hundred under our belts.
