Aust/Turk navy repulsed the French after repulsing the Royal Navy. The Austrian BC survived long enough to sink the Serb blocker. The Turk BC will also sink, but it will be avenged by the sinking of the Royal Navy in Egypt. Glad that we didn’t redo France’s turn.
So let me be the first to say it, and I mean it in the nicest way, the combined Austro/Turk navy was indeed repulsive.
Or as in “Horse Feathers”, when Groucho Marx, as ruler, was told that the natives were revolting, he said “They certainly are”. -
@fmerwinrommel Haha I liked that Groucho Marx joke. Was not aware of it. Last time I watched that show was when I was veeery young, and everything in TV was dubbed German… some jokes cannot be translated.

Austria’s current early position is not as good as it was when I played Austria in Game 3. Then, I breezed into Belgrade and held onto Milan. Although the opposition got tougher later on. While it’s too much to ask for another quick start, it is disappointing.
Now, Colt to his credit, has amassed a huge army in Belgrade that threatens my rich provinces. And a bad opening battle left my G ally with a smaller than expected army on the eastern front. My opposing neighbors have a greater combined income than me, and near turn growth is limited. With Italy, and now France, having propaganda, the CP need some tech luck of our own.
