or, you can use forum dice roller like Gewehr as shown you

and ask for a game (specify them what rules of axis and allies revised  you want to play eg. “LHTR 2.0”)

I got it to add bid units at the beginning of the game on the standard CD. After that, it won’t change things say if the game screws up!

Random crashes do happen a lot in A&A (to the dread of players everywhere) at any particular moment. I might help if you reinstall A&A or close all programs before running A&A.

Oh yeah, Direct issues might help too. Check the troubleshooting file.
