@Aaron_the_Warmonger I don’t know exactly the long term goal in Italian hands. The only conclusion I can come up with is to give Italy more of a northern Can Opening attack as well as give Italy more money for longer term play. Again, I find this foolish since it serves great use for Germany anyways. It’s been talked about, as said before, I’ve never seen it done and I have no plans to do it if I am ever Axis. I can see Bulgaria going Italian but not Finland.

Australia attacks the sz around Java with a navy including AC and also attack Java itself with amphibious assault. They win the battle and the AC is damaged. However, a plane that is attacking Java territory was depending on it to land. What happens to this plane?

Rulebook Pacific 1940.2, page 21, Noncombat Move Phase:
“Stranded defending air units also land during this phase.
These are carrier air units whose aircraft carrier has been
damaged or destroyed in combat … . These units
are allowed movement of up to one space to find a friendly
territory or carrier on which to land. If no landing space can
be found, they are lost. This movement occurs before the
acting player makes any noncombat movements.” -
