Iowa’s faster and outranges the, hypothetically (not including fire control) Iowa can take out a ton before it runs out of ammunition.

If they’re fighting close Iowa losing to 8 pre dreadnoughts with 14 inchers sounds right. 👍

This assumes that the design of the ship existed at the time, of course.

I bought a toy model of the Iowa from a garage sale as a teen. She was launched in our lake. We then commenced to attack her with bb guns until she slipped beneath the waves.

It was great fun. We could never locate the wreck.

This may interest you.  The ships can be recovered by means of a floating marker (attached to a reel of rope) which breaks away from the ship and rises to the surface after the vessel sinks.

Any of the Panzer aces-they truly destroyed a lot of tanks.

Seriously though, I would choose the Sturmtiger-I just find it interesting how it launches rocket propelled mortars rather than normal shells, even if the vehicle was never used as intended.

We would have cut off all ties with them. The next one would have been a declaration of war.
