Elche (+18) vs Gamerman01 (x) BM4 rematch

  • New aspect about Marti. I am lucky in games I win next rounds against L1 and L2 gamers but against E/M I have all the time bad dice. So maybe average at all but doesnt helps for winning a game.

  • @elche From what I’ve seen in our games so far, I agree that you are right about this. Can’t stay that way forever, though! (Well, it is possible buy highly unlikely) :D
Nasty Italian move coming your way ;)

  • I put WAY too much thought into this move, but I’m very uncomfortable with the Axis.

  • This is a good example of where the requirement to roll amphibious assaults before other battles can matter.

  • WAY too much thought

  • You are right with Vichy. I only can conquer H/B without getting income. French Navy dont fight. But 3 units in N/B will have 3 hits against Germany ?
Today I started new game with Axis and of course I play non-Vichy game. Thank you for the tip.

  • And thank you for the positive feedback! Good luck with your non-Vichy game!

  • Thank you.
    Again 2 rule questions.
#1 in my running game was a seebattle sz39 with scramble but not amphibious and it wasnt possible for me to retreat. Why ?
#2 can chinese inf or fig attack Burma ?

  • Oh, I just saw your questions.

#1 Sounds like a TripleA bug, but could you give me the link to the game or a save file?

#2 Yes, Chinese can occupy or attack Burma or Hong Kong as if it was their own, just can’t control them unless capturing them from the Axis while India is under Axis control

  • Thanks. I will look for the file.

  • Here is the file from battle I couldnt retreat at any moment.
    oool2-20-bm4-16.tsvg

  • I ran it in local and I also see that it doesn’t give retreat option.

There is no reason you could not retreat, must be a Triple A mistake.

  • Did it cause a problem with your opponent? Did it roll dice after the defender when you would have retreated? I couldn’t find which game this was from. I can help if there is any problem.

  • Hoo, I am out of my comfort zone with the Axis. Here goes. Stand by for decisions

  • OK, got it. Do you scramble at Guam?
If you don’t mind, when would you lose the ANZAC infantry in Shan State, versus the UK infantry?

    J2 CM.tsvg

  • No scramble please.

Thanks for you help. But now the game is R8 and I didnt say anything because I thought is a rule. The battle was goog for me and if I loose the game only against Germany. And battleship hita with the last attack.

  • Good grief, Guam almost failed

  • Here’s another example where it matters if amphibious assault is done first. I have to do Shan State before Burma (I know I don’t have to convince you that it matters, it’s just that most players are skeptical when I teach them this, and so I notice) :)

  • Those dice were crazy. I won’t say any more because I wouldn’t want to see any details from my opponent before opening the game.
