Hi to both of you. Good to see you’ve been playing so much. It looks like a fun game.
I just wanted to pass a word of warning, because I noticed a strategic bombing raid. TripleA makes a complete mess of the rules. As I understand it, what ought to happen, is:
- AA fires @1
- <select casualties>
- Air battle: bombers@0, escorts@1, interceptors@2
- <select casualties>
- Bomb.
In the bombing raid that just happened, the outcome would have been the same, so no problems there. But to avoid confusion in future raids, I would recommend rolling dice yourself instead of the automated dice.

In the first file I forgot to attack Caucasus
In the second attempt I forgot to bring my Fighter, but I couldn’t cancel the throw and the battle commenced, so my tank perished.
In the third attempt I did it correctly (attack with tank and fither), but I think that is not fair as the dice-bot already rolled. So that should count in my opinion.So, here the revised file, where my tank attacked the caucasus by itself but failed.

I agree with your reasoning completely. Once dice are rolled the rolls must stand and no further changes can be made that affect combat rolls.

1941.G13.vAndrew.tsvgThis is how I did the bombing.
I edited an infantery on Norway and attacked that with an extra bomber. The actual bomber flies over Russia as normal.
The bombing over Russia will roll the AA. If the AA misses, the bomber will roll for damage.
However: Then I roll one round in Norway. The roll for the bomber does not matter, but if the infantry hits, I will interpret that as a hit by the intercepting fighter. If that happens I kill off the bomber and remove the just added damage to the Russian factory.
Both AA and Infantry missed, so bomber survived and the damage on the Factory remains.
