The carrier must move to allow some fighters to land, but it’s your choice as to which one(s).

I’d say hit the Solomans with maybe as much air as you can send (if it reaches), but if it can’t reach safely, hit that area with everything you got. Those are the closets transports. The WUS ones are 2 turns away. Hit Solomans, but buy more air for a) defence and b) hitting power because when you go south, he’ll move north/northeast into your path to block you, really putting a cramp in your plans to come back to the defence of Japan.

And if you could post a map or something of what you face, that would be great. But kill transports. Battleships can’t transport men anyway!  :lol: :-D

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. My focus is Russia while they’re super weak. I can hit his loaded carrier, and trans with 2 BB’s, an AC and four planes. That should do it, and I can take two hits and won’t mind losing a couple planes.

I anticapted his blocking move too and was considering buying planes. I think I’ll buy 1 plane and all land forces.

I like dumping the US AA gun in Karelia, they usually have extra transport space early on when I overbuild transports. It makes me mad as Germany to see an AA gun in Kar and Ukraine. The Russian fighters are happy trading Belo, while using art in Ukraine and the British are helping out in Kar  :lol:

Thus is a large weakness of the “forum” format when it comes to sharing information.

In time, and a short time at that, knowledge is buried and forgotten.  That great, informative post you wrote last year is hopelessly impossible to find by anyone that doesn’t know exactly where it is.

This also causes the cyclic nature of forums.  A body of people come together to discuss a topic.  Over time they cover all the points and nuances.  New people are told “we talked about that topic here” or the less friendly “learn to use the search tool”.  Eventually, the old guard has run out of things to talk about and leave the board because it is boring.  Then in time a core of new people come together to discuss the topic.  They re-hash all the old topics, more or less from scratch.

If you want information to endure, I recommend putting it in a Wiki.  They are remarkably less fun than a forum, but the information is easily accessible to all.  Especially if it is cross-linked well.  Take a look at tvtropes.org and how that Wiki is designed.  Lots of cross-linking not only limited to things directly discussed as part of the topic definition, but also to things that are similar for comparison and to things that are opposites for contrast.

i like it becuse it enables germany to “controll” All UK SZ from SZ7.

you can also move units into an enemy seazone that contains only enemy submerged sub(s).
