During the last two sleepless days and nights, I have been analyzing, testing, praying, crying, shivering, testing again, as well as laughing. Well, I am afraid that you just beat the hell out of me, and that there is not the slightest hope for the Allies. England has fallen. It is incredibly hard for the US to go all in against Germany, without Japan growing into a monster. And even this might not help. And now, Germany will also conquer Moscow. Even if not, there is no power on the planet which can prevent the Nazis from deep diving into Persia, Africa and India. What a nightmare!
I am certainly aware of the law that if England does not enforce their main land in round one, there will be sea lion. What I did not have in my equation were the German marines and the strategic bombing with two bombers. Don’t ask me why. A tiny little mistake done by an unknown general having a huge impact on mankind. There isn’t even an “all or nothing” at hand. Well done - I resign. You very well spotted the weakness in the UK’s defense. Apologies - no epic battle this time, but a Mike Tyson knock-out.
It was a strange game. Very aggresive play both both sides and the Axis came out a little more intact. Russia got to be very powerful but some bad luck set them back, otherwise they may have been in Berlin! Going for England was too tempting, but it could easily have gone wrong, or been recaptured by the US. Despite having no income the Brits still held the Med against the Italians :face_with_rolling_eyes:
It was also a fair result in the light of the mess I created with Russia at the beginning ;-)
When you do your recap, you always mention things I had already forgotten…
Next time, I might provoke Sea Lion and already move the Russians towards the West in turn 1 - in preparation of an aggressive and strong run towards Berlin :smile_cat:

Yeah, there just needs to be enough to stop an easy invasion, if it costs Germany a lot of planes then it’s a Pyrrhic victory and Russia will be hard to attack. Japan needs to not attack the US either to delay the US trying to retake England. It’s expensive to keep defending too, whereas once Russia is conquered the allies don’t take it back. Sealion might be a bad idea of the Italians get mauled on turn 1 as they then can’t take advantage of the lack of UK purchasing.
