Does Risk suck?

It is a pity these units are not more ‘same scale’. Still these vehicles seem to be OK when compared to size of Axis and Allies tank.

Can anyone with a ruler tell me how tall the infantry for this game stand? (Particularly the blue axe and shield infantry?).

It’s readily available at Target in the US for $30.00. It will be a while before I get to play it but it looks really fun!

Played many hours of LOTR Risk, great board. Love the strongholds and leaders.

What I like most about the game is the gameboard. The actual game did not fit my taste, the underworld and the threat of Atlantis sinking at any turn.

We had two players consumed with the thought of Atlantis sinking. That was the game to them. It was funny with it happened, a player had put all his forces on the island.

It’s a dumbed down version.  Personally, dumbed down isn’t my style.
