Scramble fighters to Wake, Marshalls, or SZ 24?
-
@artofwar1947 Scramble 2 ANZAC and 1 American Fighter to Marshalls. Let’s try to defend it.
-
Hit the wrong button.
Will continue the air battle over the Marshalls:

I don’t know what to do. I am not sure anymore where I miscounted it. As it looks now, my big fleet is about to die there in the Channel.
-
Bold move to SZ 113. It puts enormous pressure on Germany and Italy if a pre-emptive strike is not successful.
-
@artofwar1947 I think I missed one Italian fighter.
And German attack was not around 85% when I calculated, obviously missed unit or two there as well.
If I launch planes to scramble now, I need to keep one destroyer to the end and hope to win. I believe chance for that is around 15%. If those 3 die there, German task will be even easier.
If I don’t launch, Germans subs and planes will come in - again, with a chance of around 15% to survive. All those transports included. However, you need to send all the planes and whole German navy and damaging Luftwaffe will help Russians survive until the next Allied wave in the Atlantic. And Germans will need to spend further for the navy, so East is safe.
in the current situation, which is bad in any case, It would probably be better to take the risk in Channel battle and not scramble to Italians attack. What would you do? :)
-
Good analysis and good question. Might well face a treason trial if I answered.
-
Bah, it’s only a game.
No scramble, we are waiting for you in the Channel. 15% is not that bad - one in seven will succeed, maybe now it’s that seventh battle.

@artofwar1947 Scramble. Maximum damage on defense.
