@dawgoneit hey dawg – i believe this was supposed to be BM not OOB

oh, I was going to ask you why you allowed Norway. Did you just miss that as a landing spot?
And I also want to recommend taking it very slow with this Japanese turn. Your in a fragile position and this round could put you back into the game or it could sink ya. I would much more enjoy waiting for a good Japanese response than just moving forward. Do several dry runs until you have a good plan…IMHO -

Good advice. I think this turn covers as many bases as possible without getting too dicey. Scramble?

I can’t remember my thinking on that turn, maybe I was too worried about landings in France (as the UK could reinforce with a good number of infantry and planes). In hindsight, blocking with an 8 IPC destroyer would have saved a lot of trouble, or a transport available to allow a counter-attack with some land troops backed up with planes. I often forget that losing Norway is a 10 IPC swing and awkward to retake.

no scrambles

Feel free to offer up an advise or suggestions on what moves might have been better. -
sorry man; I hope not to become a weekend only player, but I’ve had no time
-
@max334
No problem and no rush, happy to wait. -
I think you played well. You didnt leave anything for me to exploit. triplea_37891_5jap (2).tsvg

If you haven’t planned out your Italian move, I’d like to change out my loss in the UK-Italian battle in the Med. Instead of losing the DD pls take the ftr. In other words, pls add a UK DD to the sea zone in the Mediterranean next to Gibraltar and remove a UK ftr from Gibraltar.

Yes, that fine, no problem. You want me to make the edit or you can do it and repost?

@max334
Scramble to Norway?
Intercept over Moscow?

wrong file…someone elses game

@max334
Ooops. At least it is going better for me in that game.
This is the pre-scramble save.
triplea_37891_6ger-combat.tsvg
However, I’ll assume the decisions. We can go back to the above save or reroll or whatever if you would choose differently.

The Italians are not very happy that the Germans left their only 2 armored units unprotected :( And you bought 2 factories; that probably wasnt your best decision for those poor beleaguered Germans

Hola Mr Badger :) You must be taking a break, I dont think you would bail on a game. No hurry, I just assumed I would have heard something from you. Cheers.

@max334
Sorry, away this week, thought I had said something but looks like I forgot.Yes, probably would have been better to only build a factory in Ukraine and reinforce the Italian armour. Needed the longshot attack in Norway to succeed, it’ll be too well defended subsequently and the loss to the German economy is fatal.

if you want we can start a new game switching sides. I’m taking the family on a week-long cruise on Saturday, but when i get back i can get it started
