@chrisbump86 Does the attacker have to declare on their combat move which territory or sz they wish to continue to if they succeed w/o taking a casualty?Can they split their forces and go to multiple territories or sz?Can they return to another friendly spot or even to where they attacked from?Would a matter if the attacker needed more than 2,3 or more combat rounds to kill the defender?
If we playtest,these kind of questions are likely to come up.

The board has been printed! I think it looks awesome. Rules are still in development and play testing will start soon. Playing around with different set ups.

@ryandascienti i am very curious about your custom tactical combat system and how it works. I myself is working on a tactical hit combat for G40. I believe a more realistic combat would improve this game, like having tank vs tank, fighter vs fighter or battleship vs battleship instead of always taking out the least expensive unit. Can you share?

The basic idea I had was to combine the game Battleship with the combat system. Instead of just rolling dice on a barge board, units would go on two mini maps with players facing away from the other player’s board so they don’t see the other pieces. Then you would have to move your pieces around this mini board and defeat an enemy of unknown position and strength.

Also slowly working on making my own pieces and designs for my new resin printer. I’m going to open up an online store for new pieces, boards, rules, and other items in the near future.
