@surfer if the battle went my way in sz 99, I think it would have helped alot, would have taken another turn for the axis to take Turkey but oh well… I needed a foothold in Europe ASAP, to force Germany to spend in Europe or be more aware of the allies, we’ll see if I was right…

Granted Turkey was not planned. But you were still giving me Angola (when the Italians were going to be eliminated) and Sweden.
I find that the Allies massed at Gibraltar threaten too many places in Europe that just being there causes the Germans to react. Of course you threaten the same places in Spain, but not really. The intent is to build up Spain to start the assault, if you leave there to go elsewhere, then Spain didn’t help you and just gave me a bunch of infantry.
